Manufacturing & Retail Client

I met with a potential client who runs a coffee roastery and has just added a coffee shop/cafe to the business. He needs manufacturing for the roastery and retail for the cafe. Should he buy both manufacturing & retail versions of QB? Can they be set up to run on multiple computers?

Just provide him with Manufacturing and Wholesale - you won't need the Retail edition. They are the same product, but the Retail Edition just hides a few more things than M&W. So you don't lose anything by selecting M&W.

I never provide the Retail Edition, as it hides too many features and doesn't add any that are unique to it.
