Is it possible to put a unique number on a purchase invoice when entering the details, so making it easier when manually searching through a box file, so that every invoice entered would increment by 1? My old MYOB system did this.
QB has a numeric numbering sequence for each type of transaction Purchase order or customer invoice cheques etc, so what are you actually asking for?
QB does noy have the ability to add a numeric sequence to incoming bills, as they use the supplier reference, file thes in teh supplier file by date and you can always retrieve, but the data is always in Qb as entered.
