Maine Business Tax Programs

I agree Jack.  But I thought they already added them.  If they didn't then they should.  Call me on this one. 

I am using a form program to prepare Maine and some other State tax returns. It is my understanding that Maine may be accepting business e-returns in 2007. If Proseries does not offer all states business programs we will have to find a form program that will allow us to e-file the state returns that we cannot prepare with Proseries-- do you know of any form program that can be e-filed? I have been asking Proseries to offer Maine business returns for years - good luck.

I CERTAINLY AGREE THAT PROSERIES NEEDS MAINE CORPORATE AND PARTERNSHIP RETURNS AVAILABLE.

ATAX AND SEVERAL OTHER TAX SOFTWARE COMPANIES HAVE THEM AVAILABLE..

IF WE DO THE FEDERAL CORPORATE OR PARTNERSHIP RETURN VIA PROSERIES ..... WE HAVE TO HAND WRITE THE STATE OF MAINE RETURN. HOW PROFESSIONAL LOOKING.

Please, I agree with the others. Pro-series has lost several clients because they don't offer Maine
entity returns. Hopefully they will listen. If they don't they will continue to loose customers.

I agree...it's time for Proseries to step up to the plate. I've made requests every year for the past 8 or 9 years, and am told every year "it's scheduled for this year", but not yet!

For those interested, I have created a fill in PDF which I'd be willing to share...no warranties though. Depending on the version of Acrobat you have (I have Professional), you can export data from year to year to save reentering all of the basic static info.

I will post the 2006 version when I get it updated...

Would like to see tax return from snow2cpa -- maybe you can show ProSeries how to do it.

I agree. Any ideas on how to get intuit to do it?

ATX is just now offering business tax programs for Federal and all States returns at a good price, just received e-mail on it. Has anyone tried it ?
