This includes QuickBooks, QuickBooks Payroll, Point of Sale, & Salesforce.com. This is only for US based products. This does not affect QuickBooks Online customers! During this time, you can shop, but can’t place orders online, activate products or update account info. We apologize for the inconvenience & thank you for patience while we improve our infrastructure to better serve you. International versions are unaffected. Hi, Melissa:

I see you haven't had a response to this yet (probably holidays), so I will take a stab at making a couple of more general comments.

I can understand why you ask the question.  This is a significant investment and you need it to work as advertised.  I did a little investigation elsewhere around the web.  People can be pretty free with opinions, especially if its negative.  That's just the way it is.

I couldn't find hardly any comments regarding the use of Mail Order Manager, to say nothing about in conjunction with Quickbooks.  If there were a lot of problems, I would expect to find several posts.  Keep in mind that is not necessarily an endorsement on my part; that is just an additional process you can use to check things out.

Mail Order Manager is available on the Intuit Marketplace. It is listed under the Point of Sale solutions if that is of interest to you. You can get a "working trial kit" to test drive it.

I've had several clients move away from that program for many reasons. You may want to consider StoneEdge (www.stoneedge.com). I suggest that one because it is probably the closet to what M.O.M. offers, however there is also The SuperManager (www.thesupermanager.com) and a few others that are very good and integrate with QB's.

Hope that helps a bit,
Rox :-)

I'm considering MOM and am wondering why clients have moved away from it? What have they moved to? Thanks!

I think you will be very happy with StoneEdge - it does have a learning curve, so be prepared for that. As for why I know some have moved off of MOM or didn't try it ... the lack of integration to QuickBooks has been on of the biggest reasons, 2nd to that is not owning the data and not being able to customize it.

Good Luck!
