By choosing the "VIEW." For example in your chart of accounts look at the bottom of the screen and just above the action buttons you'll see a VIEW pull down menu. Choices are Active Accounts, All Accounts, Inactive Accounts. You should find a similar pull-down menu at the bottom of your Customers, Vendors, etc. lists
