More detail would be helpful...I'm going to assume that you are asking about how to transfer data from QB mac to QB for Windows.
Your client needs to use the Back up to QB for Windows feature to create file for you. You must use the same year version of QB for Windows to load the file and make whatever necessary changes (your client can't do data entry while you are doing this). When done save the file as a back to QB for the mac and your client will be able to load into the QB for mac system
Best
I have an add on question to this. We have Mac 2009. I help out the bookkeeper but use a Windows PC. I do not have a Windows version of QB installed. My only need is to load data from Mac 2009 into report writing software. Is this something easily done? Generally speaking is an IIF data file the way to go or should I just admit defeat now? :)
I believe you can't export transactional data in IIF format out of QB for the mac. You can however run any reports and export them to Excel where you can do whatever you need.
