Important Announcement! A planned system-wide upgrade will take place over the Memorial Day Weekend in the US (From Thurs, May 24, 2012 at 6 pm PDT thru Tues, May 29, 2012 at 5 am PDT). This includes QuickBooks, QuickBooks Payroll, Point of Sale, & Salesforce.com. This is only for US based products. This does not affect QuickBooks Online customers! Mac - PC conversion

I have a zip drive from my client. She uses Mac Quickbooks 2010. I use a PC and I use Quickbooks 2009. Can I open this file to work on it?

No -- you can't open a file from 2010 in 2009.  Plus, she would need to go to File > Utilities > Copy Company file for Windows
