Sometimes when I am creating a new purchase order, I get an error message pop-up that says: List index out of bounds (3). It gives you the option to click OK, but clicking it does nothing and you becomed locked in that screen. The only thing that I can do is shut the program down from the task manager and start again. Help!
I am getting the same error on some computer stations but not others. It seems to me the ones on release 2 version 7.0 dont have problems but all the release 3 machines do. I cant find any info on the fix other than Intuit saying I need to update to current release. I dont suggest update until they have an answer for this error.
I am getting this error in QB POS 8 the newest version when I enter POs and it locks my system up and have to restart.
Does Intuit ever come on this discussion group and provide solutions? I am new to this group and I have been using QBPOS 2003 until I had to switch to QBPOS 2007 due to upgrading to Windows Vista. Big mistake. QBPOS 2003 was more stable and had more features that I use. The Purchase Order "List Index Out of bounds" error happens when I start a PO but for some reason I do not add any items except the Vendor Name. I save it and then the PO is useless. What gives Intuit? Please support your product.

I have the same problem, but I have no idea what specifically I am doing to cause that error message and the following locking up of the program. It has gotten so bad that I can't even enter new po's and have a bunch of merchandise sitting in the back. And, there answer is "We are aware of the problem and are working on a fix in the next release"! Are you [removed] kidding me. I can't run my business! This little problem is paralyzing me at the moment and I'm [removed] [removed]! Intuit, you have to do much better than that or you will lose all your customers.
I have R7 and release 6 and still get this same error. I've found that if 2 of us are in the same screens (ie.. both receiving) or if one is receiving and one is editing an item one of us will get this message. I have multiple licenses however it doesn't seem to work well. QB's solution is to buy the newest software (isn't that always their answer to everything).
