I have been using pos 9.0 since monday. This morning I rang up a sale and I can't print receipts. Error "library not registered". Same error with labels, not will so's or po's which print to regulare printer. I can print a test receipt. Any ideas?
I have not figured it out. However, I did a system restore to two days earlier and it is working. That restore also reinstalled my old qbpos4.0 program. I think that I started getting the error when I uninstalled qbpos4.0. Until I know more I am just going to leave the old program on my computer.
I just had this happen to me. De-installed 8.0 this morning.

Error "library not registered". typically comes from one of 2 sources.
1. The windows registry is damaged in an area where POS loads some of it's operational information.
2. The printer driver has been damaged by another driver.
Reinstalling the program, ( not a repair install, but a uninstall reinstall) may cure the first. But I would then wonder what else in the registry has been damaged.
removing the printer and reinstalling it's driver may help, but be sure to use the driver from the POS cd, not from a manufacturers website or drivers site.

I eventually figured out that deleting my old QB programs was creating the problem and I just left them on. I figured it out because I would unintall have the problem, do a system restore not have the problem, uninstall again, etc...
