When using Lacerte Master Options to change the DMS default destination to TY2011 instead of the default TY11, it doesn't do so without going to each workstation's options. We have a network with 25 computers with a mixture of XP & Win 7 on them.
Master Options will not apply to any workstation that has the program open.
When I did the change at 4AM, nobody else was here so that was not an issue.
I had Q/A look at this. It seems to be working fine on their tests. Assuming everything else is working as it should, this seems quite odd. The good news is, it's a setting you only have to set once....25 times... :-( Sorry I wish I had a better answer...
Actually, it is for each Lacerte program (9 of them: Ind, Part, Corp, etc.) X 25 users.
