Lacerte/DMS Conduit Failures
Beginning about a week ago, some users started getting the following problem when using the DMS conduit to print returns from Lacerte. Printing only to hardcopy does not generate an issue.[quote]Calc Error Excluded Client(s)EOleException: [SafeCall Exception]: Catastrophic failure□[Executing Request]□[/quote]Initially it was only one user/system for a particular client in 2005. A few days ago, I started getting reports from second user for all clients attempted in 2006, but both of these two had recently crashed the DMS printer and needed it reinstalled. Today it happened to a third user in 2006. Further complicating the issue is that the first and third are happening to S Corps, but the second is an individual return.
