Labor Codes - Sync

 

Do the labor codes have to match the Item list (1-1)?  I ask because yesterday, I cleaned up the labor code list and associated them with service list items - after a sync, all the associations were wiped out. 

Also, do I have to associate labor codes to list items in order for them to go to the right income codes when I do the invoice later?

Hi Joyce,

The labor codes to not have to be 1:1. You could have any number of labor codes in Practice Management linked to 1 item on the QB side.

For invoicing all of the line items have to be linked to an item so that QB knows what to do with the revenue. If I group the invoice line items by Labor Code then by default we will assign the corresponding item.
