Why does the first job name on the entry appear as a source name on the other job accounts in the journal entry?

Because a General Journal Entry can refer to ONLY ONE Customer:Job.
General Journal Entries are NOT recommended for entries affecting A/R.
Why are you using a Journal Entry? Can you not use an Invoice, Sales Receipt, or Credit Memo?
