Job Costing payroll fringes

QB treats company side of payroll taxes as overhead. We do some cost plus fee work and it is therefore important to make sure all our payroll costs including social security, medicare, workmen's comp  etc gets posted to cost of goods sold/job costs.  How can I make this happen?

If you input time sheets using your different jobs, then produce paychecks, QuickBooks takes a % of each company cost and allocates it to the jobs worked and paid for on the paycheck.  You must produce a paycheck for this to happen.  If you use 3rd party payroll, you need to still produce a paycheck for each employee using the information provided by the 3rd party payroll company.

We are not using a 3rd party payroll system. QB  (even though hours worked is charged to a job) posts the employers side of SS and posts it to overhead expenses.
