I just installed Quickbooks easy start and I am trying to make up invoices. The company does not sell products, it is a hauling company.... Is there any way to avoid using the 'items' since all that we input is description of haul, hours, and amount.
no QB uses items
you create a service or other charge item for things you charge for, enter the rate and on the invoice enter the quantity
I work for a trucking company and I'm have problems with invoice setup simular to yours. We dont use an item number but I need a column for the date the load was hauled. How were you able to work it out.
Bring up an invoice (or the form you want to change), click customize, click customize data layout, click the column tab, check mark the other field and retitle it on the right, then click layout designer and get things positioned
