IRS Increases Mileage Rates
Due to rising gas prices, the mileage rate will increase by eight cents to 58.5 cents a mile for all business miles driven from July 1 through Dec 31, 2008.

The IRS announced the 2009 standard mileage rates will decrease effective 01/01/2009:
55 cents per mile for business miles driven
24 cents per mile driven for medical or moving purposes
14 cents per mile driven in service of charitable organizations
