Invoice Memo pulls data from the wrong field?
I have QB 2010 and when I run a report calling for Invoice Memo and Item Description the Item Description auto populates under Memo and nothing populates under Item Description.

Thank you for your reply. I use a customized report that pulls both Item Description and Invoice Memo but nothing pulls from Item Description field. I just can't figure it out.

The reason I asked is because, as an example, if you have a report that is a list of Invoices you can't have the Item description display for the Invoice because the Invoice may consist of more than one line item and QB would not know what to display.
If you want the Item description you will have to be working with a report that is listing each Invoice Line item.
If you still need additional information please reply with what Original Report you started with prior to Customizing.

Thank you for your time on this. The original report is the Custom Transaction Detail Report.

On the Test that I ran that report list the Invoice several times (one time for each Item on the Invoice) and then once for the Memo column.
So if you wanted all of that data on one line you would have to export to Excel to manipulate or use 3rd party software.
