Invoice design changes
US QuickBooks Premier : 2012: Manufacturing and Wholesale
Replaced the FOB box with a Tracking # box and made it wider so as to contain the #. Looks fine printed but box isn't large enough on screen. Help.

Sometimes due to screen layout fields will show shortened even though the info is there
but you can try Bring up an invoice (or the form you want to change), click customize, click customize data layout, click layout designer and make the box wider and see if it helps on screen
also making the invoice on screen wider may help
