Inventory with excess parts

US QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions : 10.0: Manufacturing and Wholesale

we sell pre owned cubicles, what is the best way to inventory them? Build assemblies? THere are alot of different connectors and parts, do we list them out, would be alot of entry

I'm not sure what you are looking for here, so if you can provide more detail it would be helpful.

Do you buy the pre owned cubicles as a set, and sell them as a set? Or are you adding items to it when you sell it? Or removing items when you sell it?

If you buy it and sell it without changes, I wouldn't think there is a need for an assembly item...
