Inventory Scanner not connecting
We just purchased a physical inventory scanner and I cannot get it to connect to our POS. I have tried everything listed on the POS screen but still is not working. What am I missing? How can I get this to connect?

Did you purchase this physical inventory scanner from Intuit? If so, then please call support to assist @ 800.348.0254. If you didn't purchase it from Intuit are you sure it is a scanner that is compatible with Intuit POS? You can check compatible scanners by doing the following:
Click on Help Menu (top right hand corner in POS)>Help Contents>Click on Index tab>Type Compatible Hardware>You will then see Physical Inventory scanners and go from there to check.
Yes we got from Intuit. Do you know if the support at the number you listed is free? I just got off a chat with an Intuit rep who suggested I try the tech support plans starting at $79/month. That is not an option at this time.
If you have recently purchased that scanner and you are having problems with it working then it would be covered because it's a problem with it working with the POS. If it was more of a "how to" then that would be a charge. Call them and they should be able to help. If you run into any problems let me know via this forum.
