Inventory Assemblies Using Accountants Copy

US QuickBooks Premier : 2009: Accountant

Im going to be updating inventory for a company that uses multiuser mode. Does anyone know if you can use inventory assemblies and inventory adjustments using an accountants copy or does it have to be from a live file?
