Important Announcement! A planned system-wide upgrade will take place over the Memorial Day Weekend in the US (From Thurs, May 24, 2012 at 6 pm PDT thru Tues, May 29, 2012 at 5 am PDT). Lacerte Updates

Internet Error 1:  An Internet Error has occurred.  Please check your connection and try your transmission again.  (LacerteServices.GetProductReleaseException Product [Lacerte Tax] Version [2008] SQL Server does not exist or access denied.)

I also just got the one Phoebe had but I still got 4 new acknowledgements after clicking thru the error.

 I think the bit that's erroring out for me is Lacerte Updates, not e-file acks.  Because I get my acks (or the "sorry, no acks for you!" message) even with the error.

I've been getting this error off & on for about a week.  When I do "receive acknowledgements" a 2nd time, it usually goes through.  I'm fairly certain it's not my connection.  I'm starting to think its on Lacerte's end.

Widely reported.  Some fingerpointing aimed at firewalls, but I suspect Lacerte-end issue as well.
