Installation question
Lacerte : 2011If you buy the Lacerte per return package, when you go to install and they ask you what states you want to install, do you answer all that you think? I have clients in 20 states.

I believe that you can install ALL platforms with ALL states, however, you won't be able to access anything without paying for it. I've installed ALL platforms and ALL states and as I need to access states that I've not paid I just REP what I need.

I find it's easier to check them all. Updates take marginally longer, but you always have everything you need.

I agree. Do them all when you initially install the program. Then you're not stuck in mid-March trying to remember how to load a state. Uploads for 100% of all modules with all states are usually 1-2 minutes per week-enough time to walk to the coffee pot.
