Installation of Updates
EasyAcct : 2008I have easyACCT on 7 computers. Is there anyway to download the update once and install it on the other computers?

Yes there is a way to do this using some of the new program features...the Shared Download Path and the Automatic Check for Updates feature.
1. Select a computer from which to download updates, which is connected/networked to all other computers where EasyACCT is intsalled.
2. At this computer, open EasyACCT.
3. Go to System, System Utilities, and System Characteristics.
4. Switch to the Updates tab.
5. Make sure the Shared Download Path on this computer is C:\.
6. Check the Automatic Check for Updates box.
7. Click OK.
At the other computers:
1. Go to System, System Utilities, and System Characteristics.
2. Switch to the Updates tab.
3. Set the Shared Download Path to the mapped drive representing the computer that performs the updates.
4. Checkmark 'Automatic Check for Updates'.
5. Click OK.
Whenever an update is performed at the computer performing the updates, the others will detect an update is available upon opening the program. When an update is available the Update Now button will appear in the lower right hand corner of the Company Selection screen. Click the button to initiate the installation at the workstations. The same general steps can also be performed in the Information Return System.
