Installation of pro 2012 is failing due to the following error:

The resolution is, to ask nicely, as this is a User to User website.

It seems you need to install the Microsoft .NET framework.
Actually, I agree nice is better manner - apologies for the apparent frustration,
However, the offered solution is NOT the resolution to fix the problem, in my case at least
The problem was related to the installation of the .NET framework not the fact it was not performed.
suggest to contact QB Technical Support
or contact a certified QB ProAdvisor who supports computer system.
Just install it manually via MS website then run Quickbooks installer it will not need to install it then will run through fine
