EasyAcct : 2008Mel Sorry to write another question but when I clicked the solved problem button it would not let me answer your question. I had installed IRS 2008 program on 6 machines and 4 of them were giving me the update error problem. I removed the program from the 4 machines and reinstalled it. After I reinstalled the program it worked correctly. While reinstalling the program I made sure that the network utility was not checked to install. I think that may have had something to do with the problem.
