Increase amount of space i Billing Address
QuickBooks Canada : Pro 2012Does anyone know how to increase Billing Address from max 4 lines to 5 or 6, so that we can include the client's title and/or department? Thanks

Sure:
Go to 'Invoice'.
Then select 'Customize'.
Then select 'Layout Designer'.
Then on the designer click on the biling address area and make the box longer/wider as needed. You should do a few print-outs to practice as you might have to go back here to adjust things a few times to make further adjustments as needed.

You can't add more lines to the Billing Address box.
The box is designed to have the address fit the size of the window in a window envelope.
Making the billing box larger does not add any lines.

Hi, Thanks for your advice. I tried it but it didn't work. I tried editing the Customer address fields to 6 lines, and an error message appeared about having to limit to a 5-line box.

I was able to make it up to 5 lines.
I 6 in mind for some reason ... but hey, 5 is better than 4.

Ok, thanks again. 5 lines should be more than sufficient, but some of our clients have really long titles and insist on superfluous detailed addresses. Appreciate your feedback!

Another thing you could try is to make the font size smaller? That might also give you a bit more space to play with.
