I'm being told that the annual wage limit has been reached for payroll taxes. It has not. How do I fix this?
Also, I would really like to turn off scheduled payroll. I selected it by accident and now my previous payroll liabilities are a mess.
Scheduled Payroll is how you can group employees that get paid on the same cycle.
Schedule the liabilities is how QB tries to keep you on track to pay them in time.
What does "a mess" mean? You need to be using Pay Liabilities, or Create Custom Liability Payments. If all you did is use Write Check, this has nothing to do with the Scheduling functions. It simply means, you used the wrong tool.
For the wage limit message: are you keeping the tax tables updated?
