QuickBooks UKgrouping
grouping
possibly need a bit mioe clarification, is ths for situations where your paid from one accounts office with one cheque for several locations?
if so, i do this for maintenance firms, enter the payment source as a new client, then add the associated sites as jobs. when you receive payment enter the 'agency' client refference it will show all the outstanding invoices for those tree'd below grouped together.
i work for several firms who in turn look after many properties, qb makes it easily remmembered and allows me to have as the invoice address -:
Residents Assoc for Marble House c/o
Dim Sparks Elecrical.
666 flash lane
smokeyville
it's the main feature of qb that's kept my loyalty over the years tbh.
Hello,
I head up the Accountant Programmes for Intuit UK. I just saw this posting, and was wondering if you knew that QuickBooks 2012 has added this feature?
we call it Batch Invoicing. Basically the idea is that you create ONE invoice and then select the group of customers to send it to, all in one step. QuickBooks changes out the customer names, addresses, etc on each invoice. All you have to do is create the invoice, then choose who to send it to. You can also create Groups for your customers, or, select them one by one.
This is ideal if you are a Gym, or Daycare, or landscaper, cleaning company... etc. Anyone who charges multiple customers for the same thing, every month. It should save you HOURS and HOURS over the previous method of having to create each customer invoice one by one each month (even if you memorised them it still took hours.)
Hope this helps? This feature is in QuickBooks Pro 2012 and QuickBooks Premier 2012 and QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions 12.0
