I get the spinning beach ball when I open one of my bank accounts downloaded transactions..why?

I get the spinning beach ball when I open one of my bank account's downloaded transactions.

My second bank account works fine.

I start up Quickbooks (2010 for Mac, R7) on my Macbook Pro running OS X 10.5.8 and everything seems ok. 

Then I select "downloaded Transactions" from the Online Banking menu. I have two bank accounts there. One works fine. I can add transactions to the register, everything is great.

When I try to select the second account in the Downloaded Transactions screen, I get the spinning beach ball, and Quickbooks eventually crashes.

I've tried "file" " utilities" "verify data", which tells me everything is OK in my file.

Any ideas? Why does it work with one bank account and not the other?

Is there a way to specify which account is opened as the default in the downloaded transaction window? It's not an elegant solution, but if the problem is not with the account, but rather QB is only be happy opening the first account, I could switch the order of accounts to make sure that the account I want to use is first.

Any ideas would be appreciated.
