Important Announcement! A planned system-wide upgrade will take place over the Memorial Day Weekend in the US (From Thurs, May 24, 2012 at 6 pm PDT thru Tues, May 29, 2012 at 5 am PDT). I can't merge 2 jobs. Please help!

US QuickBooks Pro for Windows : 2011

Hi there,

For some reason I am unable to merge 2 jobs. One just would rename itself into another one. No error message comes up. QB just wouldn't let me save changes to the job properties when I try to change the name. I can rename it to any thing else though.

I have succesfully merged a few other jobs but there are 3 that I'm having this problem with.

I'm using QB Pro 2011.

try to copy the name of the other & paste it to the other one...

I've tried to do it bu t no luck. I tried to replace the name of job 1 with the name of job 2 and the other way round. I can rename both jobs into anything but no into each other.

This seems to be a problem with trying to merge accounts as well.  I don't know the answer either, so keeping an eye on this one too!
