i am trying to install Quickbooks Pro 2009 and keep getting error msg 1304. I have done everything they say to do (create new folder, repair the ,net) and still am getting the same error msg. Help
Run virus and spyware updates and scans. If you still get the error, turn off your firewall, spyware and virus programs for a minute and start QuickBooks again. If that does not help, use the Windows Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs, to remove MS .NET Framework 2.0 and QuickBooks. Then reboot and install .NET Framework 2.0 from Microsoft.com. Next, reboot and install QuickBooks in a new folder. Update QuickBooks to the latest version and then turn OFF automatic updates. Also remove any program starting with QB in the Windows Start, All programs Startup folder. There are only about 12 updates a year, so why let QuickBooks search for updates each time Windows or QuickBooks starts?
