How to I process a refund to a customer
I have a message spa business. I have a customer who wants his membership dues back. I do I record that probely in quickbooks?

The answer depends on how the membership dues were recorded in the first place. How was the income recorded? How was the cash receipt reocorded?

You need to write a check to your customer and select the income account were the dues membership was initially recorded (as opposed to an expense account).
When you received their dues, you deposited a check and linked it to an income account. That was a debit to cash and a credit to income. Now you need to write a check and link it to the same income account. This will be a debit to income and a credit to cash. That will reverse the original transaction.
