how to change bill payment method
I just paid a bill and forgot to change it to a credit card instead cheque can I make that change without voiding the payment and doing it over again

Hi, go vendor centre, click on the vendors name, the payment should be in right hand side, if not , make sure the filters above the transactions all say All, double click on the payment line , and where the cheque # usually is, just change it to whatever you want, thats it i think!!

sammymartin, that does not change the transaction from a cheque to a credit card.
lippold, the easiest way to correct this would be to find the cheque in QB and delete it. As there was not actual cheque used, you will not have to account for the cheque number.
Then go and pay the bill again, but make sure that you choose the correct credit card account instead of the bank account.
