How do you link the worksheet for 1116 to the efiling to provide the required information?
When E filing I have found that PS requires statements for form 1116.
The information needed for the statement is spelled out quite nicely on the 1116 Computation worksheet which I always attach when I paperfile.
As I do solely foreign income returns this is a huge time kill for me. I have to print page and manually enter the data that is already in the program to make the error go away.
Is there a way to link the worksheet so it is the statement? This is truly idiotic if not.
I have found many issues with PS lack of support in handling efling for expat returns. They have refused to assist despite my many phone calls. Perhaps there is another program out there that support forms 8621, 2350, 3520? NRA instead of a SSN for non American spouses for MFS. Does anyone know?
