how do you change the listing of officers
how do you change the order of your board members in Officers(2)
how do you change the order of your board members in Officers(2)

Not a very critical issue. Can not "re-number" in Lacerte. Delete and re-type.

You probably need to re-enter them if you want the list to print in a different order.
It bugs me that you cannot reorder entries by, say, a simple drag and drop. It might not be a critical issue, but if you have someone else reviewing returns against source documents it certainly saves precious time being able to run down a list and not skip around.

I agree with you, Megan. This is why I no longer use Lacerte's automatic alphabetizing feature, preferring to be able to proofread from the organizer to the output of the tax return, most of it coming out in the exact same order (unless perhaps Dividend #3 of the organizer is crossed out, and a new one is written in as Dividend #8 but simply entered into the program in the same spot where Dividend #3 used to be, for example).
It's more critical now since the IRS requires the order to be according to title. DIrectors are first, then trustees, officers, key employees, highest compensated, and former employees. As Directors change, it would be nice to be able to add someone at the proper space then have to retype everyone else. Especially since they require entering the addresses!

CBR, to stop the automatic "sorting," do this:
Settings, Options, Tax Return.
2nd line down, "Sort Descriptions" - make it NO.
I might suggest doing that in every module's options (indiv, p'ship, corp, etc)
It is a critical issue now that the IRS requires a certain order. If we can't easily change the list, at least Lacerte should put the correct people first in the tax return presentation. We've always shown officers first and now the IRS wants them in the middle. Retyping 30 to 40 officers, directors and trustees is a HUGE time waste.

So the IRS, in effect, suddenly decided to waste everybody's time -- our time as tax preparers, or the programmers' time. Either way, it sounds like a pain. Let's just hope IRS doesn't change their mind again about which officer should go where, for another 25 years.
