How do I record owners draws from a sole prop in Pro 2010?
And since this is an equity account, how do owners draws affect the income tax return? Essentially, the owner is withdrawing money from his company to pay himself, which would seem like its an expense, but its an equity. I'm just not clear how this affects his at tax time. Thank you

I actually don't have the program yet to search, which is why I am asking. The person I am getting set up on this is very far behind so I'm just trying to do my research so I can get going ASAP without having to look up a bunch of questions. I am getting someone set up on Quickbooks, and am having trouble installing the program. He is VERY VERY behind in filing GST, payroll deductions etc.. so I am trying to make sure I have all my ducks in line. If you find my questions silly, don't respond!
