Important Announcement! A planned system-wide upgrade will take place over the Memorial Day Weekend in the US (From Thurs, May 24, 2012 at 6 pm PDT thru Tues, May 29, 2012 at 5 am PDT). This includes QuickBooks, QuickBooks Payroll, Point of Sale, & Salesforce.com. This is only for US based products. This does not affect QuickBooks Online customers! During this time, you can shop, but can’t place orders online, activate products or update account info. We apologize for the inconvenience & thank you for patience while we improve our infrastructure to better serve you. International versions are unaffected. For more info, see our community discussion.

Thank you.

If you use Pro Series Basic I might not be able to help you. If you use Turbo Tax I might refuse to help you. All others, watch out! ;-)

 Hi bigg1234,

This is a great question with a LONG answer!

There are two parts to optimizing your web page: one is the optimizations you make on the page, and the other is the links you get to your site (and the ones you put on your site).

There are article on www.websites4accountants.com that will help you understand both:

For on-page optimization (keywords), read How to Optimize Your Site to Get More Clients.

For information on links, read Helping Prospective Clients Find You.

And for details about Google Local Search - which is a great (and free!) service for accountants, check out Getting Listed at the Top of Google.

SEO can be time consuming, but it doesn't have to be hard. I hope these articles help!
