Important Announcement! A planned system-wide upgrade will take place over the Memorial Day Weekend in the US (From Thurs, May 24, 2012 at 6 pm PDT thru Tues, May 29, 2012 at 5 am PDT). This includes QuickBooks, QuickBooks Payroll, Point of Sale, & Salesforce.com. This is only for US based products. This does not affect QuickBooks Online customers! During this time, you can shop, but can’t place orders online, activate products or update account info. How do I get rid of login/password required

US QuickBooks Simple Start : 2010

Suddenly, each time I open the program, it asks me to login.  This is downright inconvenient, and I want to go back to not asking me for a password each time.
How do I get rid of login

Go to company>users and passwords (after you have logged in as Admin) and edit your user and remove the password (backspace).

It does not let me leave the password as blank.  it tells me I must enter a password.
