How categorize Bank Deposits?
hello, when I am entering a bank deposit, what should I select from the "account" field? the deposit is not from sales or customer, but lets say its some amount we received from an investor who is financing a film?

You should create a liability account for the investor. Since theoretically the investor is loaning you the money you would create a liability account for "Investor Financing". That way as you pay them back you are able to keep track of what you still owe them.
