When I am making the invoice, I choose the product at the item columns. There will be a little window show up the item and description, can I also see the quantity at the little window too??

No - Quantity on hand is an Inventory function. You can go to Reports>Inventory>Inventory Stock Status. If you use Sales Orders and Purchase Orders, QB can notify you when Inventory is low based on the Preferences you have selected.

Is there a small icon in the Quantity column of the Invoice? If you click this icon it will show the available quantity.

That seems to be the situation - I see the icon in the Premier edition, not in Pro.
Please also specify which version (year) you are using when you ask a question, the version and edition are often relevant.
