There is no affect in QB until a reward is redeemed. A redeemed award reduces the sales price.
Unless directed otherwise, what goes over to QB is the reduced price to the income sales account. POS can be set up to send the discount over separately, e.g to an income discount account.

Go to company preferences > financial and select “separate original and discounted values”.
This should send discounts to a separate account in QB.
