Help with bank register
I would like to separate my bank register into separate years. They are currently all together. What is the best way to do this?

The solution
Have you Reconciled your bank account. for all the months and years?. To tell you the truth there is really no need to separate your bank account by years, as you can run reports for each year that you need info for... You could do it, but the amount of time it would take to do it, is just not worth it... There are some outside tools that will allow you to do it but they all cost money...

Thank you so much for your reply. Unfortunately, the bank statement is not reconciled. I got off in 2008 or 2009 and couldn't find the problem, and then forgot about that problem when I merged all of the years together to streamline my account. Are there any suggestions to reconciliation beside doing it the "old fashioned" way? Thanks!
