Important Announcement! A planned system-wide upgrade will take place over the Memorial Day Weekend in the US (From Thurs, May 24, 2012 at 6 pm PDT thru Tues, May 29, 2012 at 5 am PDT). This includes QuickBooks, QuickBooks Payroll, Point of Sale, & Salesforce.com. This is only for US based products. This does not affect QuickBooks Online customers! Help Please - Unrecoverable Error 19976 87109 cant open Quick Books

US QuickBooks Pro for Windows : 2007

Help, Help, Help - I am getting a unrecoverable error 19976 87109 and I cant even open my QB, it worked fine when I shut it down. The patch listed for 2007 did not repair it.

I was wondering if I upgrade from 2007 to 2009 will this fix it or will I lose my account registries / files

I am a small business owner that uses QB everyday so I could really use the help

You wont lose your files and installing 2009 probably will fix the issue.
