The child is only 38 years old and only makes $75,000 per year but I have to give him money to support his drinking habit and wacky weed problem

The solution
So...the child you're wanting to claim as a dependent is 38 years old and makes $75,000 per year. If so, I think you ended up on the wrong forum and need to post your question on the Turbo Tax forum. Or I think I heard of some place called We Tote the Note that might be able to help you. There are also a few that I know of in my area that I could refer you to.
