Important Announcement! A planned system-wide upgrade will take place over the Memorial Day Weekend in the US (From Thurs, May 24, 2012 at 6 pm PDT thru Tues, May 29, 2012 at 5 am PDT). This includes QuickBooks, QuickBooks Payroll, Point of Sale, & Salesforce.com. This is only for US based products. This does not affect QuickBooks Online customers! During this time, you can shop, but can’t place orders online, activate products or update account info. We apologize for the inconvenience & thank you for patience while we improve our infrastructure to better serve you. International versions are unaffected. For more info, see our community discussion.

Has Adobe Update Left You Unable to Print Too?

US QuickBooks Online Edition

Adobe Reader X Update-Download has FUBAR'd QB Online Printing capabilities. The application freezes QB and nothing is viewable nor can be printed - multiple computers - all same problem - all Win64/Vista Any thoughts?

Having the same issue - I'm on a Mac using OS X version 10.6.7.

On the mac we use preview.app to show PDFs. So if you have adobe, you should get rid of the Adobe plugin from /Library/Internet Plug-Ins/

You guys should switch to using Chrome for windows or mac. It has its own inbuilt PDF viewer so no more headache of all this adobe or not-adobe dependencies :P

I thought the problem with Safari was a compatibility issue with Rosetta settings on the Mac. OS X (10.1) Lion and Safari 5.1 should have been able to provide the proper solution. However, I still ran into the problem. I did some research on it and apparently it is a problem on the Adobe end. It uses "managed" installation rather than "manual" for the Mac. The workaround is already posted by Karan and gremxel (remove the AdobePDFViewer.plugin file from the Library/Internet Plug-Ins folder... I just created a new folder "disabled plug-ins" and put the file there in case I wanted to re-enable it).

This can be avoided during installation of Adobe Acrobat X (Reader X) ... you would have to choose "Custom Install" rather than default, and modify the settings accordingly.
