Has a fix been released to correct the error related to Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 when opening DMS?

ProSeries : 2010

When attempting to launch DMS on a Windows 7 operating system, the following error is encountered "DMS Has Stopped Working". The problem appears to be related to an update for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5. Has a fix been released for this issue?

I previously tried this and it works, but if I let Microsoft update the following file it stops me out of DMS again:

Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 on Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 for x64-based Systems (KB2572077)

When will a permanent solution be released so I can continue to update Windows 7?
