Grid lines on estimates

I'm considering writing my construction estimates in QB. It's nice being able to pick and choose cost items from a menu and QB keeps an OK running total of costs with and without markups. My biggest problem is that an estimate may run to severalpages, and it.s very difficult to read when there are no grid lines between items. Shading the item with a screened background, as is shown on screen would work equally well. This is absolutely worst when I generate a scope document, with no costs yet. I suppress the print display of everying but description, but the lack of articulation between items is awful.
