For the PA state form REV-276 extension form, there is a line to put a reason for the extension request. Where in Lacerte is the screen to enter a Global Default reason for filing an extension. The F1 Help sais it is under "User Option" but I don't see it. Thanks for any help you can give.

In fact, I have a default reason which is part of my options, and it pro-forma's every year.
Thank you Phoebe, but it's the PA state return that I am trying to set up a default extension realson., and not the Federal? I don't see any area inder the state return that I can do this. Thanks again.

You enter it once for Federal, and it shows up on the states, too.
In fact, Tullio, I don't think there's even a need for Federal reasons any more, now that Form 2688 isn't around. But that input spot works great for the REV-276
