I am a volunteer for a Non-Profit that collects furniture, mostly, and then sells the Items via an internet site.
The funds are then distributed to qualifying non-profits in support of their missions.
I have not seen the books or QB entries as of yet, but am preparing to provide some assistance.
I was informed that they are using QB Pro 2009.I need to have or validate the proper recording of those funds distributed to non-profit ABC.
The question is how do I show money paid out to the supported charity? I plan to add an account in the COA to show support to a Charity.
